主要学术经历
    长江学者特聘教授,国家重点基础研究计划973项目首席科学家。1982年大学毕业后,一直从事精密加工与测量的教学与科研工作。现任国际生产工程院(CIRP)Fellow、英国工程委员会特许工程师(CEng)、《国际纳米制造技术学报》(International Journal of Nanomanufacturing)主编、《纳米技术与精密工程》编委、《国际精密技术学报》(International Journal of Precision Technology)编委。多年从事超精密加工、复杂曲面加工和精密测量方面的研究与开发。是多个国际学术会议的科学委员会委员、组委、或会议主席。应邀在中国、日本、美国、德国等国家举行的先进制造和微纳加工领域的国际会议发表大会主题报告及特邀报告30余次。发起在制造领域形成广泛影响的系列纳米制造国际会议(nanoMan),并担任在新加坡举行的第一届会议和在中国举行的第二届会议的大会主席。
